Gaynor Minden pointe shoes are made from synthetic polymers with extraordinary flexibility, durability and strength, and therefore last 3-4 times longer than a traditional pointe shoe. In addition, they are internally lined with shock-absorbing foam with different layering under the heel and under the toes, so as to absorb impact across the entire foot. The CLASSIC model features a U-shaped toe box with equal width across the metatarsal, midfoot and heel. Box 3 is suitable for narrow-footed dancers, box 3+ is slightly wider than the previous one, and box 4 is recommended for wide-footed dancers. The shank hardness is identified by the color of the bag (yellow bag for extraflex hardness and green for the firmer hardness).
